I believe that recently the UK has become an unattractive study destination for international students because of the UK government’s stance towards minimising immigrants. It is artificially expensive for international students to enter and stay in the UK as they have to pay a prodigious amount of fees as compared to home students. On top of this, international students have to meet strict financial requirements set by the Home Office in order to obtain a student visa.
The main reason for the increasing difficulty for international students to obtain a UK visa after they graduate is the four-month time limit to find a job which in my opinion is an extremely short time span to find employment, especially in the current competitive job market.
